Position the fixture on the wall in the desired
position so that it covers the electrical box.

With a pencil, mark the location of the holes in
the fixture that will accept the mounting bolts ("A").

With a pencil, mark the location of the holes in
the fixture that will accept the mounting screws
("C").

Drill a hole in the wall big enough to accept the
wall anchor ("B"). |

Drill a hole in the wall big enough for the wall
anchor ("D") to pass through in its closed
position. |

Insert the wall anchors ("B") into the
holes drilled into the wall.

Thread the mounting screws
("C") through
the respective holes in the fixture and into the respective wall
anchors ("D")

|
Holding the fixture close to the electrical box,
connect the fixture wires to the house wiring. If your fixture
has a bare ground wire, connect it as appropriate for your house
wiring (Click
here for those instructions). |

Align the holes in the fixture that will accept
the mounting bolts ("A") over the wall anchors
("B") already inserted into the wall. |

Align the wall anchors ("D"), already
attached to the mounting screws ("C") with the holes
drilled into the wall. Close the wall anchors
("D") and push them deep enough into the wall so that
they open up. |

Finally, thread each of the mounting bolts
("A") through its respective hole in the fixture into
its respective wall ("B") anchor in the wall. Tighten
the bolts ("A") until the fixture fits loosely up to
the wall. Do a final alignment of the fixture and then tighten
the bolts ("A") until the fixture is tight up against
the wall. |

Finally, place the fixture snugly up against the
wall and tighten the mounting screws ("C") so that the
fixture fits loosely up against the wall. Do a final alignment
of the fixture and then tighten the screws ("A") until
the fixture is tight up against the wall. |
