1.
|
Firmly attach crossbar bracket ("B") to
the electrical box using the screws ("A") supplied
with the electrical box.
|

|
| 2. |
Screw the threaded pipe ("C") securely
into the crossbar bracket ("B") so that the threaded
pipe ("C") protrudes no more than 1/4" past
the wall surface. With your plyers tighten the nut
("D") on the threaded pipe ("C") tight
against the crossbar bracket ("B").

|
3.
|
Holding the fixture close to the electrical box,
connect the fixture wires to the house wiring. If your fixture
has a bare ground wire, connect it as appropriate for your house
wiring (Click
here for those instructions). |
| 4. |
Align
the threaded hole in the fixture bracket ("E") over
the threaded pipe ("C").
|
| 5. |
To attach the fixture you will rotate the fixture
clockwise to thread the fixture bracket ("E") on to
the threaded pipe ("C"). But first you must
"backspin" the fixture counter clockwise two complete
revolutions while holding the threaded hole in the fixture
bracket ("E") over the threaded pipe ("C").
This will ensure that the wires will not wrap around the
mounting hardware as you rotate the fixture onto the mounting
bracket pipe. |
| 6. |
After "backspinning" the fixture two complete
revolutions, simply rotate the fixture clockwise, threading the
threaded hole in the fixture bracket ("E") over the
threaded pipe ("C"). To get the fixture snug up
against the wall will typically take two complete revolutions. |
